VISTA Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) provides clinicians, managers, support staff, researchers, and others an integrated patient record management interface.  It consists of graphical user interface to the VistA Office EHR software for Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, Allergy Tracking, Consults, Dietetics, Progress Notes, Problem List, Scheduling, Surgeries, Vitals, PCMM, Patient Care Encounters, Text Notes, and more.  Together, these clinical components of VISTA provide a single interface for physicians to manage patient care and records, as well as an efficient means for others to access and use patient information.

Click here to use a real VistaOffice EHR  CPRS  system with test patient data running at the VA by downloading the latest version of CPRS (version 26.76).  This will download the VA_CPRS_Demo_V26.msi file.  Run the file to install the executable and the shortcut on your desktop.  Double click on the VA CPRS Demo icon installed on your Desktop.  The software points to the test servers at the VA.

This installs the CPRS Client executable, which connects to a VA VistA® System on the Internet.  The user will be automatically be logged on to the system randomly as one of ten doctors.  Select a patient and then explore the Department of Veteran’s AffairsComputerized Patient Record System.

NOTE: The VistA® account will be refreshed nightly, so any changes made to the account during the day will be overwritten.

The electronic signature code for each user is Doctor1 so that you can test signing orders/prescriptions
